How to fall asleep
If you are one of those people who fall asleep as soon as you hit bed, then you are one lucky fellow. But not everybody can fall asleep easily when you go to bed. Well, I am one of those. When too many things are going in your head it's very difficult to calm your mind and tell your brain to shutoff and sleep. I discovered few techniques, besides counting sheeps and learnt few from friends on how to shutoff your brain. Here they are ...
- Try to remember some symbol or image like religious symbol or god's statue or anything and keep your mind concentrating only on that when it slips away from that image get your mind back on that image
- Think of sitting in a train and train going through some beautiful scenic area or any other place which you like most
- Think of some small bug climbing stairs slowly of your 3 or 4 floor house or apartment
- If you are a space enthusiast think of sitting in a space travel machine and travelling through stars and galaxies endlessly
Basically trick here is to divert your mind's attention to something other than the topic which is bothering you. If you know or use any other techniques please share it with me.
