Learn and Trust in Your Knowledge

Updated on June 19, 2020

Trust Matters

Learning is an act that enhances the noblest nature of every single human being, since it allows us to fill our minds with the knowledge necessary to make our lives and those of others easier. But it is for all known that is not always easy to motivate ourselves to learn something new, since fear of the unknown can make us doubt our own abilities. But there are some ways that allow us to motivate ourselves to learn with full confidence in ourselves. You will see that If you know how to start a new path of learning it is not necessary to lose sleep to learn more and not go crazy in the moment.

Ignorance kill dreams

Ignorance is a fairly quick way to kill dreams of any kind, and the only thing that can effectively exterminate ignorance is education. It does not matter if on paper it sounds very complicated what you want to learn, the important thing is that you take the first step, which is: to start.

You may feel some frustration at first, such as when you are learning your first guitar chords, and suddenly you watch a video where someone easily masters a rock song. Don’t worry!

Absolutely everyone, even those great masters who seem to have been born with a natural gift for their art, had to start from scratch. It is true that everyone has natural abilities for something, but it is also true that those skills mean little if you do nothing to improve them or learn their basis on a proper way.

To Trust...

The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

You Can Learn Everywhere

By learning on learning in a right way the fundamentals of anything you want to ace, I don't necessarily mean going to college and starting a new career. But if you have the resources and the time, why not? It is never too early or too late to follow your passions.

However, you don't have to think so big to start learning something new. Just read an article or watch a YouTube video to plant in your soul a little seedling that could motivate to change your life.

And if what worries you is the lack of money. That has a very simple solution. Leaving YouTube aside, where it is well known by all that you can find an incredible amount of tutorials on many subjects, there are several sites where you can obtain certificates online, some of them backed even by major universities.

If you have doubts about where to look for free courses, remember that Google (or any other search engine) is your friend. There are countless resources online: forums, web pages, discussion groups, and more, dedicated to those with a passion for learning.

You will soon discover that on the internet there are courses of all kinds of subjects of all price ranges.
Maybe you think that spending some of your money on learning is a waste of time and money. It is not. Every penny invested in what fills your soul is money well spent.

Begins...

All our knowledge begins with the senses, proceeds then to the understanding, and ends with reason. There is nothing higher than reason.

Immanuel Kant

Now... You Know

And now that you have learned the basics of what you are so interested in, don't forget to practice. After all, they say that practice makes perfect. Find a way to put your new knowledge into action.
For example, if you decided to learn to play a musical instrument. Try to practice daily. It doesn't matter if you can't spend two hours or more playing your instrument. Having ten minutes of focused practice is more productive if you practice daily, than trying to do it 8 hours non-stop in a day.

And that's it? Not really. After all, life is a long journey riddled with very valuable lessons. The more knowledge you gain, the more and more you will feel more confident in what you know.

Never stop your thirst to learn what you love, no matter how old you are. It is always time to expand your mind.
