Lighting Your Own Combustible Farts

Updated on June 7, 2011

Bored? - Then Light Your Own Farts!

For those that get bored easily help is at hand, lighting farts has been the common past time of many a teenager and youth of a certain style of life.

But perhaps anyone can do it for some windy fun!

Fart lighting has been displayed in many comedy shows and movies as part of fart humour. We love to rip one out!! Fart lighting involves setting to fire the gases which are produced while farting as the fart gases are combustible. As fart lighting can lead to burns to the person on whom the trick is being played, it is a risky thing to do. How many lives must be ruined by an open flame and lethal gas?.

I went into the kitchen once, pulled down my pants, struck a match and let one rip. The fart was smallish, but the follow-through was phenomenal( No I didn't turd myself!!). When this excessive gas is released from the body through the anus (Science lessons demand the real terms folks!) a farting sound is produced. The gases created during farting contain methane, hydrogen and other dangerous gases that could be lethal if inhaled..

Farting ain't it great? Share your fart lighting stories. You know you want to!!
