Limidax XR Review

More and more college students are illegally abusing prescription ADHD medications like Adderall, Vyvanse, and Ritalin as study aids everyday. College is an environment in which the workload and cramming is endless. In order to achieve higher grades on assignments, college students are turning to study-aids in large droves. Researchers now estimate that more than 30% of students in the US use stimulants non-medically.

In reality, the pursuit to boost productivity and concentration is a noble cause. However, the illegal abuse of prescription stimulants is rapidly becoming an epidemic within the US.

As a college student myself, I have recently started to try out healthier alternatives to boost productivity and focus. I will be posting reviews of several top study-aids in the coming weeks, but I will start with my favorite one today, Limidax XR.

Limidax will be judged on four categories: the product's credibility, effectiveness, safety, and cost. How does the company present itself? Does the product deliver? How does the product make you feel? How credible is the company? Are all ingredients used safe? Is it overpriced? The questions that one needs answers to, in order to make an informed decision. I will answer these questions about all study pills within the smart drugs list. The best smart drugs are those that not only meet, but exceed expectations for both short-term and long-term health benefits.

I have provided the information here for your complete benefit, as the ineffective and harmful non-medical abuse of prescription stimulants by college students is a worrisome trend and strikes me personally.

As always, please note that a supplement that works really well for one person might not work as well for another. Every person is unique and different. That is why it's important to check the policies of the website, and make sure they make sense and are ethical to you.

Credibility of Limidax

Limidax XR is one of the premier study aid supplements on the market. From the get-go, you get the feeling that everything behind this product is science-based rather than just hype. The ingredients are openly shared and discussed. The supplement label is posted clearly on the website.

Most companies just make statements such as, "Boosts your memory and concentration" without showing how or why the ingredients they used are healthy or superior. In fact, most times it's because the supplement is nothing more than a coffee pill. Limidax is unique.

Limidax went above and beyond by not only posting summaries of the clinical studies on the ingredients in the product, but also included links directly to the US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health for the customer to browse on his or her own.

There are two considerable product details. First, Limidax XR is an all-natural concentration, focus, and memory boost that utilizes over ten powerful ingredients. Second, Limidax XR is the only study aid, and one of the few supplements in the industry, that has invested in and utilizes micro-encapsulation for an extended release of key ingredients.

For being the only study-aid supplement that openly shared their label, thought-process, and actual links behind their claims, Limidax gets 5 out of 5 on credibility of brand and statements.

Limidax Effectiveness

The reviews from people show that Limidax works exceptionally well for most. When taken without food, effects begin to take form within 30 minutes of taking the capsule. The short-term effects last about eight hours, but could be anywhere from 7 to 12 hours based on the individual (weight, body chemistry, food-intake, etc). A person shouldn't take it 8 hours before the designated bed-time though, unless they want to stay up late working.

Reviews of Anecdotal Experience(s): The product increases focus, concentration, and overall productivity while you're studying, cramming, or working in general. Also makes you feel happier during the whole process. I would recommend taking the capsule, and then start to study or start your project. After the effects of Limidax start to kick-in within 30 minutes, your will-power increases dramatically. After working for an hour, most people will persuade themselves that they deserve a break, or will wander off to facebook or youtube. However, while on Limidax, you may feel pangs of discomfort when you stop working on a task you've been trying to get finished and then begin to get intrusive thought about getting back to your work. Then, when you return to your work, you feel happier about completing your project. Great experience.

Reviews do not cover this aspect of supplements. I do a complete run through of the ingredients, and let you know of any questionable or harmful ingredients.

Here are the ingredients: Vinca Minor (Vinpocetine), Citrus aurantium (Synephrine Caprylate), Pausinystalia johimbe (Yohimbine Standardized Extract), Stinging Nettle (Nettle Leaf Extract), Camellia sinensis (Green Tea Extract), Microencapsulated natural caffeine, Glucuronolactone, and Microencapsulated Phenethylamine.

All ingredients are safe for human consumption. No red-flags.

Limidax XR completely exceeds the competition when it comes to safety. The product is completely all-natural. Furthermore, there is no Gluten, no GMO's, no Artificial Coloring, and no Preservatives.

Limidax XR is also a Vegetarian product. The capsules themselves are made from Vegetable Cellulose.

The ingredients in the supplement are a unique blend that have promising properties to help the supplement actually do what it says it will. Let’s take an in-depth look at Limidax’s hand picked ingredients to get a glimpse of their brain boosting ability. The active ingredients in Limidax XR are divided into four different proprietary blends. We’ll break down the ingredients by each blend.

Limidax Neuro-Support Proprietary Blend Review

Nettle Leaf Extract

This ingredient comes from the stinging nettle plant, known scientifically as Urtica Dioica. This plant has been used for centuries and can trace its medicinal applications all the way back to the Greeks. What makes this plant useful is the fact that it contains some biologically active compounds that have shown to help reduce inflammation. It’s also an antioxidant, so it promotes blood, lymph, and brain health by reducing the amount of free radicals in the body. It was included in Limidax because laboratory studies have shown that it has the ability to reduce antioxidants in different parts of the brain, which promotes better learning and thinking ability.

Niacin is essentially Vitamin B3. This particular vitamin is most often used in treating cardiovascular disease, it has some promise in treating brain problems as well. In one doctor’s study, supplementation with niacin was able to help improve or even cure senility and improve memory. Some studies point to a deficiency of this vitamin as having negative effects on the brain, so a good dose of this supplement, such as the amount in Limidax XR, is beneficial to overall brain health.

The vinca minor plant is the inspiration for vinpocetine. Vinpocetine is actually a chemically that was carefully created in a lab to mimic the effects of the natural vincamine extracts. Vincamines have traditionally been used by Europeans to treat cognitive functioning issues, and vinpocetine was formulated to magnify those nootropic effects. This ingredient helps to promote blood flow to the brain and is believed to help protect brain cells from trauma and injury. In Limidax, it’s intended function is to increase blood flow to the brain, thereby increasing the number of nutrients, like glucose and oxygen, that are stored and utilized directly in the brain.

Yohimbine Standardized Extract

This all natural ingredient hails from the bark of an African evergreen tree. It has many popular applications as an energy enhancer. This vasodilator has been a popular part of African fertility and marriage rituals because of its vasodilatory abilities. Since it increases blood flow and is easily able to penetrate the blood brain barrier for easy use by the brain, Limidax XR uses Yohimbine as a productivity enhancer. It should help to improve mental focus, drive, and concentration to help you achieve your goals more quickly.

Limidax Extended Concentration Proprietary Blend Review

Microencapsulated Caffeine

We all know that caffeine provides the brain and body with an energy boost. Because it’s both a stimulant and an antioxidant, it can work powerfully in the brain to improve concentration and build up thinking stamina. With consuming traditional caffeine, such as that found in coffee or tea, the uptake into the bloodstream is slow and gradual. It lasts for a short period and fades until more caffeine is consumed. Limidax has microencapsulated the caffeine in their concentration blend. This allows the caffeine to have a sustained release in the body. Also included in the encapsulation is L-theanine, which is a caffeine synergist. This means that your concentration is improved and you feel brain stimulation for a much longer period (Limidax claims up to 12 hours).

Microencapsulated Phenylethylamine HCL: A popular nootropic, phenylethylamine HCL (or PEA for short) is an amine that is used in the brain. Found naturally in the body, it increases levels of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, in the brain, while working to decrease levels of dopamine. This gives the effect of better concentration, better thinking ability, and improved mood. A traditional problem with PEA is that is has a very short life in the body, which doesn’t allow it to penetrate the blood brain barrier when taken as a supplement. That’s why Limidax XR uses their microencapsulation technology to improve and extend the absorption of the PEA by the brain.

Limidax Instant Release Proprietary Blend Review

Caffeine from Green Tea Extract

This caffeine is purely extracted from green tea. Green tea contains the natural amino L-theanine, which as mentioned above, acts as a synergist with regular caffeine to help improve its effect on thinking as well as its ability to be absorbed into the blood brain barrier. It’s inclusion in this formula is for an instant boost to complement the longer lasting effects of the microencapsulated caffeine.

Synephrine Caprylate

This derivative of the bitter orange plant has some effects that are similar to those of ephedra, making it popular for sports and energy supplements. It’s primary purpose in Limidax XR is to give energy, which is why it’s in the instant release blend meant to give a boost of energy. This compound was chosen specifically for its ability to achieve synergistic energy with the caffeine and green tea.

Limidax Modulation Synergy Blend Proprietary Blend Review

Green Tea Extract

This part of the supplement was designed to concentrate the polyphenols that naturally occur in green tea, as discussed above. This all;-natural stimulant has been used for centuries all across the globe to improve concentration and thinking, and current studies support this concept. This helps with improved thinking, better concentration, and enhanced brain performance.

Connective tissues in the body are supported by glucuronolactone, which is a naturally occurring substance in humans. It has the ability to enhance performance by blocking the B-glucuronidase enzyme, according to studies conducted since the 1960s. The blocking allows for higher blood glucuronides, which gives energy and removes toxins from the system. Additional Japanese studies have shown that glucuronolactone provides longer lasting performance enhancement than even some stimulants, although it’s a natural compound. | Source

Limidax Pricing

Limidax XR is the best priced focus and concentration solution in its class. It is also the only brain supplement for students that offers both a trial and a subscription model. The focus pill basically comes out to $1.17 per serving. This is much better than the average $4.00 for dietary study-aids, $3.50 for energy drinks, $2-3 for coffee, and $7-20 for illegal pharmaceutical stimulants.

More importantly though, they offer a Starter Package, which is basically a trial of the product. It is no subscription and comes with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee (30-days). The other Package is a subscription to a monthly plan. They do not automatically transfer you from the Trial to the Subscription, so there are no worries there (I asked!).

Independent Third-Party Certifications

A product's claims and a product's online reviews can all be sculpted by people who have ulterior motives. This is where independent, third-party certifications can be helpful. Believe it or not, a lot of companies that sell products oftentimes have little to none of these types of certifications.

Limidax has two major independent third-party certifications. One is from the Consumer Protection Organization which issued Limidax a Doctor Trusted Certificate. Several important things to note here. First, in order to get this certificate, the company must make everything on a website open to inspection to the organization (including any areas that require admin logins). Second, the Reviewers are actual U.S. Doctors. Third, and most importantly, the Doctors who review products have no stake in the outcome of the independent review. That means, that regardless of what the Doctors say, they are compensated by organization (so that there is no bias).

Limidax passed with flying colors, and achieved a solid "A" grade in its Doctor Trusted certification. This means that the Consumer Protection Organization has determined that Limidax has reasonable science-based health claims, ethical pricing and billing policy, fair return and refund policy, and passed due diligence check. Pretty much what our review was before they even got the certification.

Second, Limidax has another third-party, independent company, one that is backing every single Limidax order. You've probably heard of them, it's Norton. Yes, the Norton you probably have installed on your computer, tracking down viruses, and malware. Norton has issued a Shopping Guarantee to Limidax ( What this means is that Norton has thoroughly reviewed and verified the "merchant's identity, reputation, experience, financial stability, and ability to honor their sales terms and conditions." And, Norton thus provides, on every single order, for no cost to customers the following guarantees: Identity Theft Protection, Purchase Guarantee, and a Lowest Price Guarantee.

Finally, I would like to point out that there is a third party site that is collecting Limidax reviews. Out of the hundred plus reviews that have been written, Limidax has an average of 4.8 out of 5.0 satisfaction rating from customers.

Limidax Reviews from Others

Limidax XR is the healthiest and most effective focus supplement in my line-up of concentration-aids. I believe it is worth the money, however, the decision is up to you. There are cheaper alternatives out there, which I will also review soon. However, beware of overly priced concentration-aid alternatives out on the market. They are more likely not to work. An easy way to tell is if they offer trial versions of their products. In my opinion no company should be selling focus aids to the public for above $40 and not offer an affordable way to try the supplement out first. This means that they don't expect you to buy the supplement again, because it probably doesn't work!

I do ask that you leave your thoughts about the supplement in the comment section below and share your experiences if you are able. In terms of videos of reviews, there are some review videos on Youtube, including an advertisement that Limidax had a 3rd party ad company put together detailing some of the reviews they had received from customers. I am including that below.

Yeah Limidax is definitely worth it. I could feel the effects from the first time I took it. But of course, people shouldn't think that this gives a feeling such that Adderall gives or like that it's a limitless pill or anything. But, I've never liked the feeling I've gotten from Adderall (I feel too nervous; plus side-effects obviously suck). I like the natural boost that Limidax gives. I'm just able to gain a bit more clean, improved focus and concentration, and that is definitely worth it for me!

Thanks for the review, I actually ended up trying it out. I have to say it has really improved my concentration and focus. I take it every morning. Within 15-25 minutes I'm ready to hit the ground running. It helps to get rid of the morning brain fog, and I'm able to get more done at work throughout the day. But, I also wanted to mention, I got a bottle for my wife too, but she had more of a break-even period. For the first two days, she felt like she had too much energy, and on the third day she had a slight headache. I looked into it on the website, and they do mention to drink a healthy amount of water daily. She made sure to drink 3 liters the next day, and then she started reporting the same optimal results I was having. Anyway, I think its just worth mentioning, in case readers have a similar situation. We're both taking Limidax daily now. Definitely a great product that's worth every penny.

Started taking the Limidax XR pills for focus last fall semester. Have been taking since. Although I took a week break during Christmas week. Definitely an energy boost and allows me to concentrate more effectively. Days I had class, I would take it in the morning during/at end of breakfast. Gave me the motivation to go to class, and I was more tuned to listening to the professor. Days I had projects, would take it before starting the project. Definitely saved me a lot of time, because once I would start, I felt a lot more will-power and focus to continue. Made it easier to get assignments out of the way too. Obviously was relying on it during mid-terms and finals weeks. Absolutely great to have for those. I'd agree with Kayla that it is the best thing I've tried (that's all-natural) for focus, hands down.

I ended up trying out Limidax because of the positive reviews I've seen, and it being cheaper than coffee and energy drinks. I have to say, I think it's increased my focus more than anything else I've ever taken or eaten. I'm actually not a college student (recently graduated) and I've never taken any stimulant drugs before. So, I don't use it as a study aid. But because I have to wake up really early and I work late, its definitely great to have around as an energy booster mid-way through the day. I'm definitely going to be taking this supplement for a while.
