Moss, and Mold Growth

Moss and mold can be dangerous and make the family sick. It can produce allergies, and sinus infections. If you do your laundry at home, check your water drainage outlets and pour a small amount of bleach down the drain. If you smell a bad odor, or no odor, there may be moss or mold growing. You should also get a spray bottle and fill it 1/3 with beach to water ratio. Spray the wall of your basement, and the basement floor. Remember that wherever you have moisture in the basement, you can collect moss, or mold.

Your bathroom is also a breeding place for the bacteria that comes from moss, or mold.. The moisture after a shower, or bathtub, or face bowl. Use the same ratio of bleach to water and spray all around the bathroom. After spraying the bathroom, wipe the area until it is dry.

Your garbage can is a breeding place for bacteria, and moss and mold collection. Be sure you carry out the garbage everyday. Spray the garbage cans with the bleach and water solution. Keep a supply of fresh garbage bags handy to put in the receptacle. Rinse out the cans that you dispose of. they collect bacteria while sitting. The bacteria grows moss, or mold. .

Wash your child's toys after use. The children put them in their mouth, and this makes a breeding ground for bacteria, that could turn into moss, or mold if left standing.

You need to clean your toilet everyday. Put a cup of bleach in the toilet and let it stand for at least 1 hour. Scrub the kitchen floors with a mixture of bleach and water everyday if necessary. If you have small children you may to clean often, otherwise once a week.

Look for that black growth everywhere in your home, It can appear on the windows, after a lot of rain. Again, a cheap and effective cleanser is bleach/water. Mold and moss does grow rapidly.

Mold can be in the refrigerator. Even though it is cold, look in the vegetable bin, and on the racks in the refrigerator. clean the outside door and the strips around the door. It is amazing how and where the mold grows.

A good idea is to have a basket with all of your cleaning supplies in it to carry around the house. Being ready to fight the bacteria and moss and mold is essential. You can find the moss or mold growing on the outside of your house. Be sure and wash it off immediately. It does not go away, it spreads.

You should weekly pour bleach down your drain in the kitchen. Don't let water stand for over a day, in your home, it grown bacteria. A trick is to balance the elements in your home to eliminate the germs and bacteria.

Moss looks beautiful growing on the tree trunks in your yard, not any place on the house. If you do all of the work or prevention of bacteria around your house, you might need someone to help you clean!

SUMMARY

In day care and early childhood places for children, they use a bleach mixture for rinsing the toys and wiping down the areas that the children play.  They have found that the bleach mixture kills the germs as well. It is safe to use, for rinsing your dishes if you do not have a dishwasher. We need to be aware of the hand sanitizers as well as the bleach solution for disinfecting.
