My love affair with Zumba

Zumba, What Is Zumba?

I can't do that. I'm not coordinated enough. I can't dance.

My fun friend, recently was certified as a Zumba instructor. I was so excited for her because she enjoys Zumba, her schedule is flexible and she gets a great work out as well.

So a group of friend took a local class to support our friend. also, I was very interested to see what all the buzz was about.

Zumba is a unique and fun way to burn fat! Zumba does not judge, you work at your own pace. It also mentally clears your mind and relaxes your entire body. All you need to do to is join the party. Zumba is an hour long class typically. There is also a Zumba for Seniors sometimes called Zumba Gold,

To find a Zumba class just google Zumba. You will be able to find a class near you, Typically they cost $10 - 12 class or they are free cat certain Health clubs and YMCA. I recommend if you want to lose weight in a fun way GO TO ZUMBA!

Typically, with a 60 minute class the average calories burned would range from 365 - 600.

My First Class

The night of my first class have arrived. I was so excited. I always enjoyed dancing at the clubs back in the day. Which was also accompanied with alcohol. The class starts with this awesome rhythmatic music and the instructed starts the routine. The instructor is leading by example, no instruction needed.mat first, I wanted instruction so I could do the routine perfectly, That is not what Zumba is about. You need to feel the music and the rest will just happen. Before you know it you are grooving to the music, an hour of cardio and you work your arms, biceps, triceps, obliques, thighs , legs and butt.
