Novel COVID-19 and Lockdown

This pandemic is very dangerous but it makes us habitual to live without any sort of accessories and tells us a way to live a simple life.

This novel Corona virus spreads in 2019 and named as COVID-19. Its other names are Novel Corona virus and 2019-COv. It is a sudden respiratory syndrome. It is a mild infectious disease. It has been discovered from past 30 years and scientists discovered its pathogenicity, structure and its effects. It tramsits from person to person.

It is spherical in shape and about 120nm in diameter. It is reverse transcriptase or we can say that it is a single stranded RNA virus. They have charactertics of mutation and recombination. In winter it goes on peak for weeks or for months.

It first infected people in China, city name as Wuhan in the province of Hubei. Then from China it starts spreading globally. In past it spreads in bats, pangolins and in snakes. In humans it spreads due to eating of contaminated neat which first sold in the market of China.

It's symptoms includes cough, fever, muscles ache, loss of taste and smell, sore throat, pneumonia, chest pain, difficult in breathing, bluish of skin and diarrhea. Sometimes it reach on peak, becomes fatal and leads to death.

It increasing risk depends upon the factor's like viral exposure and travelling.

It appears like spike glycoprotein. It has two spike sub units:

→S-1 which attach to receptor.

→S-2 which unites with cell membrane.

It is diagnosed by a test like PCR(Polymerase chain reaction) or with CT-Scan.

For it's treatment China Start's makes a vaccine and other countries are still engaged in making vaccines. Although there are still no drugs to treat this pandemic disease.

First China puts lockdown in a bid to stop the Novel pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. Then all countries put lockdown. Schools and universities are shut down and holidays are still extended continually. All shops, fitness centres, essential business and theatres are closed. People are just allow to buy food stuff and medicines. Restricted rules are imply to stay at home. Public cars and transports are completely banned.

Curfew laws are imposed like in China gaming curfew imposed and in America baseball curfew imposed.

All the countries make isolation Chambers and isolate thier patients. Doctor's calm thier patients by telling that they will be recovered and heathy after three weeks and meet with thier loved ones.

In some countries lockdown has ease like in Pakistan. People start pouring into the market. They are not taking proper precautions. Easing of lockdown doesnot means corona virus end .

For this our all countries have to take following precautions:

  • Social distancing.
  • Seek doctor if you feel any symptoms.
  • Use medical masks and sanitizers.
  • Wash hands and use alcohol bases hand rub.
  • Don't touch your face.
  • If you feel coughing and sneezing cover up your mouth and nose by flexing elbow.
