Strawberry is a super fruit. So, while they are still in season, why not pick some and enjoy the last days of summer with this no-bake, low-fat cheesecake that is to die for. Easy, heavenly dessert in a jiffy.

First, here’s what you need:

- Bunch of fresh strawberries

- Reduced fat Graham Cracker Crust

- Low Fat Philadelphia Cream Cheese

- Low fat Cool Whip

- 2-3 tablespoon fine white granule sugar

- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

♥- Bunch of fresh strawberries

♥- Reduced fat Graham Cracker Crust

♥- And the whole gang

How to do it:

1. Wash strawberries and drain. Cut in thin slices but not so thin. Set aside.

2. Combine cream cheese, vanilla extract and sugar. Whip until fluffy.

3. Add cool whip until smooth.

4. Scoop out mixture into Graham cracker pie crust.

5. Chill for few hours until firm.

6. Decorate with fresh strawberries when completely chilled and serve.

Strawberries - Other Healthy Tips:

1. Fat free and low in calories – one cup of natural strawberries only contains 55 calories.

2. Rich with folic acid, fiber and potassium.

3. Strawberry juice mixed with honey helps reduce sunburn by rubbing the mixture on the skin and then rinse with warm water with lemon juice.

4. According to study (American Cancer Institute), strawberries can help reduce the risk of cancer or heart disease.

Facts and trivia:

- Strawberries are related to love and flirtation. This originated from France when in the olden days, during wedding breakfast newlyweds were traditionally served a soup of thinned sour cream, strawberries, borage (also known as starflower) and powdered sugar.

- Strawberry is the only fruit with seeds on the outside and it has around 200 tiny seeds in each strawberry. These dry, yellow seeds from the outside are actually considered a separate fruit.

- They are not classified as true berry unlike blueberries and cranberries, which has seeds inside.

On a recent national survey conducted by the California Strawberry Commission, strawberry lovers are noted to be health conscious, fun loving, intelligent and happy people, whereas, those who dislike strawberry are described as boring, weird, stuffy, pick eaters who avoid healthy foods.

Love strawberries and this cheesecake, oh to die for! Promise!
