Pain We Can See (Injuries) And Pain That No-one Else Can See.

Updated on August 15, 2015
one solitary tear means so much.
one solitary tear means so much.

My heart is aching

Just like my bones.

People can see

My swollen knee.

But the heartache, they cannot see.

Medication l have for my bones.

Experience l have for my heart.

Smooth in the cream and swallow the pills.

Then massage my heart till l feel no more ills.

My heart can be used for love again.

If only l give it a chance.

The danger is always that fear will prevail.

Not wanting to be hurt again.

The doctor can help the aches in my bones

Physiotherapy, rest and and respite.

But want can one do with a broken heart?

Needing someone to hold me tight.

Someone to say."It will be alright.

You have to be patient but l'm by your side.

l'll help you through, though it's a rough ride.

I'll hold your hand for as long as you need.

I know you well.

I know you'll succeed.".

The pain no one else can see is the pain we can heal- no need of the physician. The heart can be used for love again, a sure cure-all for the spirit last for ever and the physical is but ethereal and passes away eventually, just like the fear of being hurt is but a whisper in the wind. You will conquer my friend with what you need by your side.

Thank you so much for that beautiful comment.

Also for the encouragement. I know you are right. I just need a little time.

"It will be alright," maybe not instantly, maybe not for a while. The heart is resilient and strong - like you, Dim.

No matter what it is you are going through right now, you have friends who care. I'll keep you in my thoughts that soon you will be healed.

      Your friend, Peg

Hello Dim. Dig through the albums, find some 'Young Rascals' and escape for an hour. It will ease your mind if just for a moment. Perhaps a moment is just what you need.
