Where's - the - sound?

Adrift alone

surrounded by a sea of empty faces.

Not a soul around...

to take me to their

secret places.

But then there - you - are.

A quiet beating begins

to harken.

And as you come within view...

it's like the roar

of the crashing ocean.

So - long - ago...

I lost any sense of direction.

But when I found you,

I received an intervention.

Whose - to - know?

What it is that

brings us here?

Or where to go?

Or if the answer

is even near?

Hang - ing - on...

Sometimes it feels

that way.

Until your love

hits me like a

crashing wave.

And I - feel - saved

from a lifetime of

your devotion.

Where I might be without you?

I don't even want to question.

Lost - at - sea

alone atop the expansive ocean.

But now you're here

and I can keep on rowing.

Where it - will - lead?

I don't think it even matters.

As long as you're with me,

together we'll try

to find those answers.

Or - at - least

we'll always be together

And remember.
