Change is possible and doable

While most of us have moments of joy they are often overshadowed, by hours, days and even years of stress, depression and even anxiety. It does not have to always stay like that. You deserve to have your dream life. You deserve to have a job that you love, or work for yourself and be fulfilled. You deserve happiness. Life does not always have to be a roller coaster ride full of regrets. Change is part of human nature. It is said the only constant is change

Seven keys to effect change in your life

1. You need to make a decision that enough is enough

2. Find your passion

3. Get out of bed

4. Think More

5. Exercise daily

6. Stay Positive

7. Be consistent

Enough is Enough

You need to make a decision that enough is enough. Mahatma Gandhi said that’ we must become the change we want to see” Ask yourself how badly do you want to change. You need to be very upset with your life, to want to change. It depends on the current situation you are facing. If it is an abusive relationship, you might need to make a decision to decide to leave that abusive partner, pack your stuff and leave. If it is a job, you might need to fire that boss and make a decision to walk away. Whatever situation you are in, in order to change you need to make a drastic decision that I will be the change that I want to see. What is your dream, for some is a happy home where children are free to play and run around without being hit and be constantly traumatized? Well if it is your dream make it happen. Have the courage to walk out and go out there and start a new life. The more significant your desired life outcome, the stronger your convictions for change must be

What can you do even if you do not get paid

Find a passion. Ask yourself, what was I born to do? What did I always use to imagine doing when I was small. What do I love doing? Once you are able to answer these questions, work on pursuing your passion and purpose. Earl Nightingale stated” The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious will direct us along the path to its fulfillmen” Having a passion forces you to jump out of bed every morning. Your passion keeps you awake

You have had enough sleep

Get out of bed. Insert Picture of a sunrise…They say some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard at it. The formula for success is going to bed early and rise early. You will feel amazingly rested and you will be able to accomplish a lot during your day. There is power in waking up early in the morning. In the book of Psalms 88:13 David says in the morning I cry for your help, my prayer comes before you. Also by rising early, you will quickly notice how productive every aspect of your life will be. In that way, the change will be inevitable as you will need to find something to do with your new found time. It is during that time where you work very hard at your passion. From pursuing your passion and to do more of the activities that you love, your life is sure to improve by getting out of bed

Think strategically

Think More. Every change first occurs in your mind. The bible also states that as a man thinketh so is he. You are what you think. Without advanced abstract though, the chang will never occur. You will settle for the current and fail to strive for more. Research has shown that the average South African spent four or more hours a day glued on a TV screen. If you want to learn something new, or you want to learn from someone you admire, you will need to study their lives or read their book. You a

Give the best you can give

  1. Exercise daily. “Fitness is not about being better than someone else... It's about being better than you used to be”. Khloe Kardashian. Your level of physical activity and your overall health will have a huge effect on your overall wellbeing. Devotion to motion equals emotion. Exercise will keep your mind healthy, in turn helping your desired change come to fruition. Seeing you have already gained a few hours for waking up early you have no excuse not to exercise daily. The bonus of exercise is that you will have more time with your thoughts which is perfectly suited for meditative but strategic change planningStay Positive. You must realize that pursuing your passion is a very bumpy road. There will be days where you wish to throw in the towel. There will be days where you want to scream, in fact, you are allowed to cry and scream but DO NOT GIVE UP. As I mentioned earlier your dream is your fuel, it will keep you going in times when it seems like all hope is gone. There is no one as powerful and strong as you are as you have made a decision to change. Keep reminding yourself of why you decided to make that decision. That constant reminder will help you to stay positive irrespective of what life throws at you. No one said success is easy, had it been easy then everyone will do it. Each day there are people who choose to stay in their comfort zone as they are so afraid of the unknown. You are not like that you are brave you made a decision to follow your passion and venture out to the unknown world. The fact that you took that step it is a good sign that you will achieve what you set to achieve. Just keep pushing with all the sweat give it your all.

Be faithful to yourself

  1. Be consistent. This is very important. You need to be consistent. If you made a decision each day to wake up at 6 am to go to the gym, no matter the weather honor your commitment and be consistent. Develop this habit of consistency. If you are a writer and each an every day you told yourself you are going to write 100 words towards your book, do not allow yourself to go to sleep without that 100 words that are your standard per day. Commit to not deviate from your new norm each and every day. Your efforts will become your habits and will eventually become part of you. Changing your life is possible and achievable but it takes a strong conviction and mental shift and perseverance. As humans, we possess the power and authority to do anything we put our mind to. It is possible you can do it. You are able to change you. Remember great things never come from comfort zones
