How Suffering Will End by Applying the Wisdom Traditions of the World
Pain and Suffering can be Remedied by Application of Ancient Truths
Frankl claimed we as human beings in his theory of "unavoidable suffering” would need to feel pain in order to exist. He believed that to live a pain-free life self-realization was the remedy. Buddhism claims that we can achieve enlightenment and live out our days in a state of nirvana. Nirvana is a transcendent state where we no longer suffer from unfulfilled desires, live free from the bondage of self, and reach a perfect state of happiness. In the bible in Matthew 6:10, it states “your kingdom come, you will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Both present an ability to experience the divine not after death or resurrection but in the present. Based on my twenty-year research I believe that the wisdom traditions of the East and West provided us with a spiritual solution to end our suffering.
It is my contention that the main culprit is not knowing who we are, where we came from, and where we are going? These eternal questions have been proposed since the beginning of human life here on planet earth and since the prehistoric days, we have evolved into a society that pushes theology aside and rather gives praise to the scientific point of view of the world which in itself is atheistic. But science alone will not cure the world of the never-ending cycle of individuals to whom hope is lost and life is left with the only option of accepting that the world is based on nothing but a chaos of random accidents and incidents that unfold without a creator pulling the strings. So what should we do to live a life in modern times and use our present knowledge with the wisdom traditions laid out for us thousands of years ago? Remembering.
TED Talk About Being Made of Light
Physics or Religion? Which Supports us now the most after thousands of years?
Studying the wisdom traditions of the world I noticed that much reference is made to the light. In scripture Matthew 5:14-16 it says "You are the light of the world" and ends with "let your light shine before others." In the book of Genesis God said: "let the there be light and there be light." Everything we see and all of our thoughts come from the light. We are its children. The light that came into existence on its own accord without a source due to the sun and moon not being created until the third day. In Buddhism, it states that God Almighty (Brahman) resides within all humans as Light, a fact that is supported by all wisdom traditions. Which in fact makes sense that before anything there was only darkness. On the third day there was light according to the bible but how can you have light without a source. The moon and the sun were created on the fouth day. That is miraculous and we as living beings are part of that same miracle. I blame our inability to grasp how supernatural our existence is primarily caused by thinking that we have surpassed what has been laid out for us thousands of years ago and there is nothing to theology but an attempt to opiate the masses to handle our pain and suffering. This is a mistake because the human condition now is the same as it ever was since the beginning of mankind.
Albert Einstein concluded that we are all "slowed down sound waves and light." He discovered that light is capable of thought because the particles within it make its own decisions as to how it behaves. It has the ability to think for itself which he discovered after spending several years studying photons, electrons, etc. Knowing where we come from and where we are going is very freeing and will minimize our suffering by getting back to basics laid out by wisdom traditions and realizing that we need not do anything but trust that all the work has been done before the industrial and computer age.
The Universe Conspired for your Existence and Acknowledging it Suffering Will End
So now to the third eternal question which can only be answered until we pass and experience what is after death. Who are we really? In my studies, I found that we are the universe manifesting in a living organism and becoming self-aware. together. We are all the universe having a human experience. Having an understanding of the who, what, and where is essential and could very well eliminate existential depression for millions of people who are seeking happiness which only needs to believe in ancient truths that point us in the direction that we as with light are the source of life, Once we know where we started, what is our destination, and what is our place in the unfolding of the universe then we will no longer suffer as much as anyone who wanders in the dark. Realize who you are and you never be apart from the light of life which is eternal and has been there from the alpha until the omega.
