Yes I know it’s time that we should be moving on

Still it’s hard to do

so very hard to do

so damn hard to do.

No disrespect to you.

And though it's only our memories

left to see us through

It doesn’t mean

surely doesn't mean

we will feel less for you.

Because tiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmeeeeeee

will not remain

nor leave past things

unchanged.

So we must find our place

to face what we must face

as we move forward

through heartless time

and heartless space.

And although what I've written isn't something new

still I've thought a lot

about how we all are

what is left of you.

And all the tears we've cried have not been in vain

not when they're for

our dear Elaine.

may fade away

and not leave behind

any trace.

But I know

there is more to this place

than any scientist

could ever calculate.
