You can energize your body and mind with a morning stretch especially if you are among people who need a little help to get going in the morning, a quick morning stretch can quickly energize your body and mind here's how. Get out of the sleeping position slowly, lie on your back and let your body realign itself and then from your feet up, contract each muscle, stretch your arms above your head and put your toes up. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds, remembering to breath gently and evenly. Repeat 3 times and see the difference it makes.

It has also been proven scientifically that meditation for 30 minutes everyday, brings changes in the density of the grey matter which is linked to memory, sense of self, depression and stress. This happens because as the size of the hypocampus which is the grey matter linked to the learning and memory increases then the size of the amygdala, the grey matter linked with anxiety and stress is decreased! So next time close your world out and commune with silence.

Laughter is the best medicine, it helps to open up your arteries leading to better blood flow and improved cardiovascular health, so get comedies and laugh yourself to a stress free life.

Fatigue can also be fought with a simple glass of water with the juice from half a lemon. Other ways are:

1) CALL AN OLD FRIEND:

It's never a bad time to call an old friend, call with intention of finding out what is going on in their lives. Be sincere about it and you may find out interesting things that may even benefit you.

2)DO ONE SMALL TASK RIGHT NOW:

Have you been putting off doing something whether it's making a phone call, writing an email, doing a little research anything- just do it. Once you've done it pat yourself on the back and treat yourself to something fun.

3) LISTEN TO SOME FEEL-GOOD MUSIC:

If you're having a really bad day, put on some good music and dance. Good music touches the very care of your being.

4) VISUALIZE:

Use your imagination and visualize something that you want in your life then take action.

5) MAKE SOMETIME FOR PLAY:

Benjamin Franklin advised that the optimal strategy for high productivity is to split your days into onethird work, one third play and one third rest. Any other split other than this brings trouble..

6) TAKE ZUMBA CLASSES:

The list of dances employed in zumba routines leads like a world dance show. Zumba stimulates the brain to release the chemical dopamine which acts like an antidepressant, together with endophins the feel good chemicals that give you a natural high, therefore overall zumba helps eliminate stress.

7) TAKE OR DO YOGA CLASSES:

Yoga is a holistic system of exercise that works on the union of the mind, body and spirit. It is excellent for mental health because it improves circulation to the brain and also heals organs which affect levels in your brain.

8) MASSAGE:

Get yourself a soothing massage for instant stress relief- gentle yet firm kneading on pressure points increases blood flow and oxygen to the tissue and reduces blood pressure, it also increases flexibility and 0% muscle tension; and also boosts the immune system and lessens anxiety and depression.
