The Alternative side to Cancer

Updated on January 14, 2012

Alternative Cancer Treatments

Source

I currently have two male friends, both in their late forties, struggling with cancer. One is dealing with terminal lung cancer, while the other is fighting bone cancer in his back. The fact that both these men have cancer should be the biggest irritant to me, but sadly it's not.

The thing that is upsetting me beyond belief is the fact that both are so scared, and uneducated in the subject that they are allowing the doctors to dictate their health, and only looking towards western methods as forms of treatment. We as a society have become lazy. We want to have everything done for us, and we place too much trust, and too much of our health in the hands of doctors, when it's a fact that no one knows your body better than yourself!

Cancer has become so common that it is of the utmost importance to know any and all alternative treatments just in case it ever has to be faced. Cancer is now a $200 Billion a year industry and growing! Cancer along with Diabetes, and heart disease have all exploded in the past few years. The reason is not a mystery. The Standard American Diet (SAD) is mostly to blame, along with hormones, antibiotics, pesticides and all the other chemicals in our food. Our bodies are a machine, just like a car. I don't know of a single person who would put water in their gas tank, and expect their car to run normally.

Once the damage has been done to our bodies, we must then deal with the biggest problem facing cancer patients today. The problem is that the cures are sometimes a thousand times worse than the disease itself! Here in the United States, patients are limited to three different courses of treatment for cancer. I would call them choices but that is not what they are.

The first is radiation which is the burning away of the cancer cells. The problem with radiation is that it not only burns the cancer cells but it also burns your healthy skin and organs as well.

The second choice of treatment available is chemotherapy, and also the most often used. This is a poisoning of the cells with lethal synthetic drugs. Even though I blindly opted for chemotherapy with my ovarian tumor ten years ago, I would not recommend it to anyone today.

Chemotherapy has far too many side effects to consider it an option anymore. It not only kills the bad cancer cells but it also causes loss of energy in healthy cells too. Once the normal energy flow is destroyed in the healthy cells it makes them ripe for cancer. This is sometimes the reason why people who have had chemo or radiation will notice that the cancer didn't go away, but it returned with Vengeance. Chemo poisons the whole body. The liver has to work harder in order to remove the poisons, as well as all your other organs. This can really tear down, and debilitated a person.

When you’re fighting anything in life you need all the strength you have. You do not want to be worn out and run down. Chemo will play havoc on your stomach lining, and blood counts tend to decline during treatment. Last but not least Chemo has absolutely no success rate with most cancers, and as little as 1% with others. If that's not enough to steer you clear of it, perhaps this will; A survey of 128 US cancer doctors said that if they contracted cancer, more than 80% would not have chemotherapy because " the risks, and side effects far outweighed the likely benefits". That's a pretty impressive statement considering that it's coming from the cancer doctors themselves!

The last option that you’re offered by western medicine is surgery. Sometimes cutting away of the diseased part might seem like the only solution, but most of the time it doesn't work out that way. Most times, some of the cancer is left behind or goes unseen. Once you have compromised your immune system with the surgery, any cancer that remains, then has a greater chance of spreading to your blood, lymph nodes and organs.

It is now becoming obvious that in the cancer recovery process, it is not just the body that needs to be treated in order to heal. Mind, spirit, emotions and thinking must all be considered in the healing, and recovery process. Everything in life needs the perfect elements in order to thrive. Just like mold needs a moist environment and dust needs a dry one, cancer also needs the perfect balance in order to grow.

The number one thing to always remember with cancer is, that cells become dormant when body pH levels reach 7.0 to 7.5. And kills them off at 8.0 and 8.5.! I believe that every patient should be informed of this and offered nutritional guidance before treatment is even considered.

Patents should be given classes on how to regulate blood-glucose levels through diet and supplements. Cancer cells receive most of their energy and charge from glycolysis, so it should be a top priority to control blood-glucose in order to help starve the cancer cells and boost immune function. Science has also been well aware of the cancer/fat connection for years. One of the first prescriptions for cancer patients should be the deletion of fatty red meats from the diet. Once sugar, and fat are eliminated from the diet, treatment and healing can then be started.

Cancer cures need not be lethal, harsh or expensive. The baking Soda Molasses Cancer Protocol, and the Dr Johanna Budwig Protocol are both simple, inexpensive and have been around for more than fifty years. Sodium bicarbonate is an antacid used to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion and also being used in many parts of Europe to help cancer patients. Sodium bicarbonate has been proven to kill off yeast, and help to alkalize the body. Another great alternative is Ozone treatments. Cancer is not able to live in a highly oxygenated environment which makes this high form of oxygen worth looking into. Also worth looking onto is TA-65 Longevity supplements and Serrapeptase Supplements. The best thing about alternative treatments is that you can use three or even four at the same time without any issues.

Last on my list of cancer rants, are patients who are currently on doctor prescribed hormones. Whether these are supplemental, synthetic or bio identical they are known to contribute to the cancer instead of help it. I would get rid of these as fast as possible, right along with Anger, resentment and hate. Learn to love, Learn to forgive, not only yourself, but others as well.

You must believe with all your heart that you will get better. You must see yourself getting better long before you ever start to feel it! Start every day off with positive affirmations and faith! Lots of faith, because there is nothing that cancer hates worse then someone in a positive mood!
