The Health Benefits of Chillies

It is amazing how the benefits of eating are not well known and a study revelead that eating chilies will help with controlling insulin levels after eating a meal. The main component of chilies is capsaicin, which has vitamin A and C containing beta –carotenoids which are powerful antioxidants.

Health benefits of eating Chillies

1. Acts as relaxant and therapeutic and is helps with relieving of headaches, sinus, migraines allowing you to relax.

2. Eating chillies is healthy for your heart as they helping with destroying harmful cholesterol and aiding cardiovascular health.

3. Chilies also boost the circulation and thinning of the blood preventing the risks of having strokes.

4. Lowers risks of stomach cancers because capsaicin inhibits cancer cell growth,

5. Capsaicin helps in preventing the spread of prostate cancer and slows the growth of cancer cells.

6. Capsaicin also helps with pain relief without numbing and affecting nerve cells and it is used to treat pathological pain without affecting mental health of the patient.

7. They also detox the body by removing toxins and waste from our bodies and help in the digestion of food.

8. Chillies act as antibiotic as they bring fresh blood to the site of infections.

9. Chillies it helps with losing weight by speeding up metabolic rate.

10. The antioxidants in the chillies strengthen the immune system.

As much as chillies are beneficial for you health it does not mean that they be overdosed as too much of a good thing is a bad thing

      Hello moiponetsoka, As a 12 year old I insisted on eating a raw red chillie because it looked so nice. My mum tried to talk me out of it but no chance..oh my god, it was soo hot I remember the experience to this day. Your 'Team leader'

      I love peppers overall. The peppers are swallowed whole as a digestion aid in Jamaica. The much smaller versions of course.
