I was amazed when I found out that drinking wine can make you look youthful and live longer. Wine is very high in Antioxidants, especially red wines. Antioxidants soaks up damaging free radicals that cause aging related diseases. There has been studies stating that drinking a glass of red wine a day can add years to your life, make your skin glow and you will look better. It is the polyphenols in the red wine that gives it a red color. It is also helpful to promote healthy skin.

How To Drink Wine?

Its important to know how to drink wine. Wine quality is key. Choose a well known brand of wine and drink it slowly. Drinking wine real fast can cause headaches. Its good to drink wine with foods to prevent liver problems. One or two glasses of wine a day is suffient.

Drinking wine in moderation contain health benefits. Drinking more will results in losing all the health benefits.

      With all these health benefits of drinking wine, I can now feel good about my evening glass or two. I didn't know red wine also helped prevent food poisoning. This hub is filled with so much useful information.

      I was suprised when I found out about red wine reducing the risk of food poisoning. That was very interesting to me. I agree with you, a glass of wine with dinner wouldn't hurt.

      Great article....I love the taste of all wines, however, I know that I enjoy more than the 1-2 glasses daily of chardonnay which as you said brings headaches! I found Shiraz red wine which I enjoy and savor only 1-2 glasses. The Shiraz flavor has taken the overindulgence away and I can enjoy only drinking 1-2 glasses which as you said is more healthy!
