The Law of Attraction

Updated on July 13, 2011

What is The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is one of the five universal laws. It states that like attracts like and it is the foundation of our very existence. Without The Law of Attraction, the chemical compounds and molecular components that create and make up our entire Universe would have never come together in the first place and we simply wouldn't exist.

The Law of Attraction can be used as a very powerful way of creating your ideal life and attracting whatever favorable circumstances you desire to you.  If you want a better body, more money, a new job or whatever it is the power of The Law of Attraction can bring it to you and I'll explain how in this article.

How to Use The Law of Attraction

  • Step 1 - Creative Visualization

The first step of the three step process of utilizing The Law of Attraction is to get a clear understanding of what you want and to visualize what you want.

Take 10 to 20 minutes each day to sit or lay down in a comfortable position and clearly visualize how it will be to finally have what you want. If it's a new car, imagine how it will feel to sit down in it for the first time and to grip the steering wheel tightly in your hands. The clearer and more detailed your senses are during this visualization, the more powerful it will be.

The key here is feeling emotion. You want to feel the emotion that you actually would feel in the given situation of attaining what you seek. Your emotion itself is what feeds the power of this visualization and super charges The Law of Attraction to bring you what you want.

When you are fired up on all 10 Cylinders and feeling excited and creative about this, that's when you know you have completed Step 1.

  • Step 2 - Be Who You Want, Have What You Want, Before It's Reality

Be always comes before have. When you pretend you already are or have what you want to be or want to have, you begin to see the universe re-arranging itself in amazing ways to create the reality you have focused your attention on creating.

The Law of Attraction doesn't give you what you want -- it simply gives you what you're presently focused on. Therefore, when you live your life acting like and believing you already have what you want to have, the power of The Law of Attraction will help manifest it much faster than if you kept your mindset as "I still don't have it, but I want it."

  • Step 3 - Take Action

This is one of the most important steps of the entire process. You can't simply 'wish' things into your life without exerting any effort whatsoever. As amazing as it is, The Law of Attraction isn't some genie in a bottle that will give you whatever you ask for, just by wishing you had it. You must keep your mind open to the whispers of divine Universal Consciousness which will whisper to you and inspire you of what actions to take in order to manifest what you want.

As you diligently continue to use the power of creative visualization daily and imagining you already have what you want to have, you'll begin to get creative ideas and inspiration of actions to take to fulfill your desires.

This is the time to start acting. Write down whatever ideas you get immediately upon getting them so you don't forget. When you have a moment to take a few minutes and sit down during the day, review your notes and create a detailed plan of action to take to fulfill your goal.
