The Power of Words: Change Your Words, Change Your World
One of the major influence to our daily life is not other than the words that we utter, particularly what and how we speak them out to ourselves (it also known as self-talk). If we speak empower words, our day will be fully empowered and if don't, the day follows would suck. The spoken words could strengthen and condition our minds toward the day that we are going to face. It will either tunes our mind up or makes it down, which then influences the way we act or respond to things.
Why words that we speak are so important?
Simple, the words that we speak forms the feelings that're happening inside us through some biochemical processes. These words serve as a command to the mind and request the body to come out with the right exact amount of hormone that stimulates the same feeling. No questions asked; the mind and the body just follow what you command. They are the greatest slaves that you could ever find on the earth.
The feelings that chemically produced will then be trapped inside your body that serves as the guideline for your day. It will determine how you are going to response or react towards things that come to you. If you are empowered, then you will be energetic the whole day and being positive in dealing with whatever problems that come to you. However, if you aren't, then you will find your day just suddenly collapse and to make it worse, you don't even know why.
So, what's the first thing that comes out from your mouth the moment you wake up?
Is it, "Oh gosh, it's work again. I just hate it!" (you won' know where your vocation will bring you to in the future)
Or perhaps,
"What a great day waiting for me to explore!"
Watch how you feel when you speak those commands. This is a conscious act and lack of it separates yourself from the real you.
Try them to yourself and see how your day will be. However, beware that the words that you speak the moment you wake up will have a greater impacts towards you.
This is due to the fact that the subconscious is still lingering, waiting for the full consciousness to take over. And mind you that the subconscious cannot think or ask question, whatever that you feed it, it will accept with no questions. The things that you pass on to the subconscious will get stored forever, whether you remember it or not. So speak wisely.
It's a law of attraction too, what you send out you get back. The vibrations of the energy that you send out will ultimately come back to you. It's the way the we ask our day will be. The energy in motion moves according to the frequency that you have set it and which I believe that you would have seen this in 'The Secret'.
Although it is crucial to speak the right words at the moment that we wake up, it is inevitable that we might still stumble with bad things. It's just the way of the world, challenges just queuing on our way to meet us. They want to test us if we are ready to face the world and those of us who don't, we will be slayed.
If that's the case, we could still change the way we respond, only if we are aware of it. If you find that you are stressed, then try to say to yourself, “I'm excited.” See how your feeling and state change at that very moment. It fasts, fast enough that you think is magical stuff and the feeling that we have will put us in the state exactly of how we describe it. Following this, our internal representation and physiology will project the same, reflecting to the state that we have made ourselves to.
It's a cycle loop that continues to influence each other. Change one and the other follows, call it law of cause and effect if you want to.
So if you are breaking down, perhaps you are breaking through, it's just the way you describe it. You are the author of your life, not just a follower. You can describe whatever that you want yourself to be or how your life will be. An author will always be the one that influences the state and emotion of her readers. Take your role now, be the author.
"Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviors. Keep your behaviors positive because your behaviors become your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny." - Gandhi
