Today, new trends for diets appear from one moment to the next and it seems that every 6 months there is a new trend.
And of course, everyone likes to try out what's new and what's in fashion.
But with so many options to choose from, we have to ask ourselves "which one will be the best? Which one will be easier to follow and produce guaranteed results."
Is there any that is superior to all others without a doubt?
But the answer is not as simple as you might think, first you should ask yourself "Should I really go on a diet?"

Cons Of Being On A Diet:

Diets are not forever but only temporary: There are a lot of people who manage to achieve spectacular results with diets, but stopping the diet many times the weight returns in a short time because people are no longer as careful as they were while following a strict diet. As a result, they follow the diet again.

Diets are difficult to follow: A good part if not even the vast majority of the patients involve sacrifices, not being able to eat certain foods that we like, etc.
As a result, for many people, it is difficult to maintain the diet.

Quick-fix diets: Many diets are used as a way to lose weight as quickly as possible.
In the summer, for example, many people like to lose weight fast to be able to show their body on the beach or even for a specific party like a wedding for example.
So that our favorite clothes can fit us.
There are even diets that guarantee weight loss in just 7 days but these diets are very strict. Do you think you can live with so many restrictions like that forever?

Pros Of Being On A Diet:

All diets work: Yes, the good news is that all diets work. Studies were carried out by the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in which they put several individuals on different diet plans and they all lost weight, fantastic news, right?
The annoying part is that although they all work, everything will depend on you, the diets have to be strictly followed without exception, if you are not going to follow the diet as it should be, it is not worth starting because you will not get any results and in the end ends up blaming the diet. You have to stay focused and have positive results.

The diet increases your well-being: Following the diet in addition to your body changing and losing weight to your subconscious will also undergo some changes, it will adapt to a healthier lifestyle and you can also add physical exercise to it. The diet ends up helping us to better understand our body and its needs.

Diet gives us a sense of community: It doesn't matter what diet is following, be it vegan, paleo, keto, etc.
When starting a diet we like to learn more about it and as such we start to read more information on the internet and in forums, thus getting to know other people who are doing the same diet as us.
We can share experiences and knowledge or clarify doubts.
So in the most difficult moments, we are not alone because we can talk to people who are or have been through at least and can give us tips increasing our chances of success

So for the initial question of "Should, I really go on a diet?"
The answer is yes as long as these 2 conditions are present:

1- Let it be a well-made diet or be nutritious and healthy, after all, we are doing things to improve the quality of life and not to damage it.

2- Let it be a diet with which you think that you will be able to follow it forever if it is something of such fast diets you will end up tired of the restrictions and end up giving up after a while.ยด
So find one that suits you well, focus and follow that diet.
