The weight loss chornicles
About a year ago, I weighed a fluffy 165lbs. I was wearing size 14 pants and a 36D bra. I did not care what I looked like or what people thought of me. I ate EVERYTHING! IT was not an easy journey. IT first started out by starving myself and not eating. Mostly eating water and bread. Then I added in vegetables. I cut out soda of all kinds and alcohol. Within a few months I added in walking a mile or two a day, then 3 miles. I then started running daily.
After losing 5 lbs I thought to myself, hey I can do this the right way. I managed to start to eat 3 meals a day. Not very big portions, but just enough to make me full. Very, very little salt and butter. Greasy foods were out of the question as were spicy foods. For about 2 months I cut out all carbs. Let me tell you that was not an easy feat. Carbs are my weakness and it was tough to do it. 10 more lbs lost and another pant size.
After going back to work full time, I noticed a lot more weight falling off due to being on my feet 8-10 hours a day walking around all day. I started eating a lot better. Salads, chicken, no soda, no fast food and no snacks or junk food. 1 year later after my last surgery, I am a healthy 130 pounds, a size 6 and wearing a 34D bra. I plan staying this way, watching what I eat, excercising daily(or at least walking 3 miles a day at work, literally). Oh, and having the mental strength to push myself and having the discipline to not want to stray off healthy regime! Yes, I am happy with my new body and physique and my new attitude towards life!
