I share my experiences, my emotions and believe in myself. I am positive, confident and love life.

Things I Gave Up

What would you give for this year in goal planning?

I gave up everything I owned that had affected me from my past life.

To have good health and to achieve goals is a priority. I see life in that way.

People don't often look at themselves as important or as a priority.

Each year starts out with new challenges. You can keep up with challenges, or you can give up and continue with a sad face.

Give it up!

You don't need to please your neighbour. Pleasing others is not what you should have in mind.

It spoils your personality and ruins your happy life. To please others, what you are doing to yourself is making you the unhappy one.

Why would you want to do that to yourself?

Everybody wants to have a good life and to be happy as they are, but people pleasing is such a common way for many people. In culture or not people pleasing should not be the answer to your lifestyle.

I do not please people!

When I first moved to Croatia, I noticed an unhappy me and did not know what caused that unhappiness.

One day I realized if I don't stop pleasing other people, I will be a very sad person.

I just stopped doing that on my own.

My family means more to me than to please others.

Doubting myself!

I had to get over doubting myself.

Why doubt yourself?

Get rid of the doubt!

When you doubt your abilities, you are not yourself. Doubt brings weakness and negative ideas into your head. So, when you doubt yourself you are inviting more negative issues.

Be fearless!

  • I learned not to fear taking on challenges.
  • Depend on your ideas, not on the thoughts of others.
  • People are entitled to share their opinions.
  • Be that strong individual you once were when young at heart.

Take on risks freely.

  • Don't think twice to ditch those friends who use you and call you up when in need of something.
  • Fear shouldn't get in your way of living your normal day-to-day routine.
  • When you are afraid to take on a challenge lots can disappear from your hands.
  • Be positive and show your strengths, and be able to say NO when should say it.
  • Don't be silent when someone is hurting you in any way.
  • Speak up and let others know about those traumatic issues.

Materialism!

Forget it!

What is it about materialism that makes people greedy about their lifestyles?

Good things don't last a lifetime.

Be simple and live happily.

Blame no one for your wrongdoing.

It is time you took the blame for your wrongdoing. Get out of that trance of blaming others for what you could have corrected.

Impressing others!

Do you need to impress others?

  • I don't need to impress anyone.
  • If someone is not pleased with me, or the way I am that is too bad for them.
  • I don't need people like that in my life.
  • They need to accept me for who I am and not for my impressions.
  • Live in the present, let the past stay there.
  • Avoid the past issues it would hurt you more than you realize it.

Attachment!

Let go of attachments.

You are your own self why do you need to be attached to another human being?

  • You won't grow and change on your own if you let yourself be attached to someone else.
  • It is not like you need that person in your life.
  • Think and do for yourself.
  • Stand on your own two feet and experience the good times and the bad times.
  • Attachment destroys the true being you.
  • You feel nothing with the attachment of the other and that won't do you any good.
  • Life is a gift to you, learn to enjoy it.
  • Eliminate negativity to feel good about yourself and happy.
  • You can succeed and achieve greater skills it is in the mind of how you go about doing this.
  • Focus on what you want in life.
  • I know what I want in life and I made that my focus.
  • What you want is more important than what you don't want in life.
  • Pay attention to what is in front of you and not what is not there.
  • The downfall of many individuals they tend to look for what is not there.
  • They chase it and still don't get it.
  • Focus your energy on positive thinking rather than the negative.
  • Avoid stupid ideas that cause you stress.
  • Be motivated by your good deeds.
  • Movie time still exists.
  • Go to the movies and enjoy a good comedy.
  • When you practice each day with positive views you eliminate the negative points.
  • I often analyze the time spent with people and sometimes these moments do bring on a negative thought in my mind.
  • I realize it may not be good for my health to analyze past conversations, but I still do it.
  • A habit I fail to get out of my head.
  • Negative issues flow from one's past and the big concern of the future does give a negative flow in their minds.
  • Guilt from the past is another negative aspect.
  • You don't know the future, so don't worry about it.
  • The present is most important.
  • You have a choice in life.
  • Don't rely on the choices of others.

Be independent!

  • Of course, you will need someone's opinion, but you don't have to go with it.
  • Listen and learn what matters to yourself.
  • Ideas come and go all the time.
  • You can sit and think of those ideas forever, but if you don't act when you should have, you will be affected by the final choices.
  • People have made bad choices in their young lives and are scarred by these choices. Those choices are carried to their adulthood.
  • The change you make for yourself to move on to a better life is up to you.
  • Sleepless nights.
  • Eating poorly.
  • Excessive drinking.
  • Addictions.
  • Failures.
  • Walking out on your parent's conversations.
  • Frustrating moments with friends.
  • Jealous vibes.
  • Down-faults.
  • The many one-night stands.
  • Tears flowed when your heart was broken
  • The many ups and downs you had in your younger days certainly showed you the reality you ignore in this present day.
  • These lessons learned if you learned any lessons that should put you in a better lifestyle.
  • Lots have changed you just have to know how to cope with the changes.
  • Eliminate people who fail to be happy within their presence.
  • Those who lie to you repeatedly forget about those individuals.
  • The people who abuse you.
  • Seek those who stick by you through all times.
  • Avoid those who disrespect you.
  • When you behave in a good manner others look at you as weird.
  • I share my happiness in my way and others look at me as weird.
  • You can't guess who is that true person unless you spend a lot of time with that person.
  • I am confident because I speak up more than I did in the past.
  • I decided to do things differently.
  • There was a time when I sat there and let everybody else talk and conversations continued without me.
  • Life is full of unwanted issues and coping with such issues can make you feel helpless.
  • Respect one another irrespective of what the other thinks of you.
  • People won't help you does not mean you shouldn't help them.
