Have you suddenly become aware that you need to loose a few pounds? Do you feel run down all of the time? Always getting sick? Well you have come to the right place. I want to talk to you about the right way to loose weight and feel better in general and it is not by dieting. Dieting is meant to be a short-term thing that only lasts as long as you want it to and when you have lost the weight you quit. Or even worse when you are tired of the diet you quit. I don’t want you to loose weight; I want you to get healthy!
What do I mean by this?
I mean I want you to put all the diet stuff down and start eating again. Only this time you are going to cut out off of the junk you are eating. By doing this, your body is going to be able to actually absorb all of those nutrients you need in order to be healthy.
Did you know that certain foods you eat could actually be blocking those nutrients from being absorbed into your body? One main one is SOY. Soy is being labeled as a health food when actually it couldn’t be worse for you. Not only is it used for nothing more than fillers but also blocks your vitamins and nutrients you are trying so hard to get! It is also packed with hormone changing properties. Soy is in everything. Start reading those ingredients on any boxed or packaged item you are getting from your grocery store. To make matters worse because they are hormone changers our little girls are starting their periods earlier and earlier, to ages where they don’t understand what is going on to their bodies. Do you want to help your 8 year old understand what a period is? It’s time to step away from the processed foods.
So here we are in today’s world where companies have made it easy on us to jus go grab a box to feed our family but it is making us sick. Today there are more people in the world with stomach and health issues because of food than ever before and it all boils down to your food being processed and preservatives.
So here’s my pitch.
Buy organic! It has had nothing done to it that is unnatural.
Eat only what you can buy fresh. That includes fruit, vegetables and meat.
Buy your meat with no antibiotics and grass fed.
Drastically cut your sugar intake. If you want sugar grab fruit! If you don’t like actually eating fruit make a smoothie with real fruit. I freeze fruit I buy so that it doesn’t have added sugar to it like the frozen bags do from the grocery store. If you do buy the frozen fruit from the store make sure it says no added sugar. Fruit has enough natural sugars in them that your body can process quickly instead of those added sugars that get you hooked and sit in your gut collecting extra pounds.
Sugar is addictive and it is in everything. When I say cut it drastically I mean it. Your daily allotment for sugar should be 25 grams for women and 35 grams for men. You should be lower than that number. Start watching your sugar intake. Just for reference I don’t count sugar from fruit! Yes you are getting it but like I said before it is processed easily through your body.
This sounds like a huge deal I know but you will start having energy and feeling so much better and your weight is going to start dropping like you wouldn’t believe. Enjoy your life and stop getting sick by eating natural foods instead of processed junk from a lab.
