To my mom in Heaven -- Happy Mother's Day!
Today was my mom's first Mother's day in Heaven.
Happy Mother's day to my mom. Today is her 1st Mother's Day in Heaven. Prior to her sudden death on March 30th, she had regularly talked about missing her own "mama". I was a very young child when her mama died, but I remember thinking my mom was never going to be able to stop crying. She loved and missed her so much. How I wish I could ask her today how she was able to move on after her mama died and become such an amazing mother and grandmother. Even though she missed her mom every day, she had such joy and love to share.
On her 80th birthday a few weeks before she entered eternity, my mom was excited to show us that she had a birthday card in her purse that her mama had given her many, many years ago!
Today, despite the strangeness in not having her to call or visit -- I am sure that my mom is having a wonderful celebration with her mom, and in the presence of the King of Kings!
Happy Mother's Day mom .... can't wait to see you again!
