Turkey Chili
I love chili. Everyone does. This recipe is both low carb and good for those on a heart healthy diet. Best of all it is not only tastes good but is easy and fast.

Yields: serves 6-8 people
Ingredients
- 1 lb turkey meat, chopped like hamburger
- 3 onions, chopped
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 2 regular cans tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 large can tomato puree
- 3 cans black beans
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- to taste chili powder
- to taste salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Turkey Low Carb Chili
- Put olive oil in a pot and add the 3 onions and the package of fresh mushrooms. Fry.
- Add the pound of turkey ground meat, and 2 tsp garlic powder till cooked.
- Then add 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, 1/2 can of tomato puree, and the 3 cans of cooked black beans, Finally put in chili power and salt to taste and cook till it is hot
