Using Your Android Phone to Lose Weight

Updated on May 18, 2011

Are You On a Diet?

Losing weight with your Android Phone might just sound a bit unbelievable. There happens to be an application that I recently downloaded to my Sanyo Zio. This application actually helps you track your meals and workouts that will assist you in reaching your weight loss goal. After all losing weight has been something that I have struggled with and chances are if your reading this your struggling to lose weight also.

The best thing is that this application costs absolutely nothing. It is 100% free to download and use. This means that you can start tracking your meals right away and realize that it is actually easier than you think. In fact this is my first week using it and I lost 1.41 pounds in the first week. I happen to be at the highest weight that I have ever been at. So, now I have to make it a priority to lose.

Now I am sure that you are wondering what the name of this awesome weight loss application is.  Noom Weight Loss is the name.  You may have already heard of it or not.  If you are trying to lose weight then you really need this application.  Not only will you find out how easy it can be, but you will see and feel the results.

Counting calories is hard, calorific is easy!  Probably the best words I have ever heard in when it comes to dieting.  Instead of counting each calorie you use a portion size method.  Small, Medium, Large portions of good, ok and bad food choices.  This method has made tracking my intake a lot easier than it was in the past.  Noom also has a water intake tracking system.  Did you know that we should drink at a minimum 8 full glasses of water each day?

Wait while we are discussing dieting, lets break down the word diet.  "Die" t, what does this tell you.  Most diets are destined to fail because of the first 3 letters.  Lets us start today toward our weight loss goal using the Noom Weight Loss Application (free for a limited time) from the Android Market.  We will call this a lifestyle not a diet.

Please leave comments on your weight loss goals and how you managed to reach them.  We all need to share what works and what does not work.
