Dreams and vision are both one and the same. They are the proverbial finish line to let you know that you have arrived at your end goal. We all have a dream that we carry in our hearts and most people take this dream to the grave. That dream you possess was put in you by your creator and he chose you to bring it to the world. We must change our tendency to conform to what everyone else is doing and instead become courageous enough to take action and live your dream. The vision reveals your destination which is where the word destiny comes from. Your vision should be related to what you are passionate about.

What certain thing about you if anyone asked someone what they knew about you, you would be known for doing that one thing. We must be certain about this special gift. Maybe it is speaking, helping others or perhaps painting. We can create a life moving us towards attaining a life sustained by that one quality of ours. This is part of the happiness equation. Steve Jobs was once asked what he liked about his job. He replied he never worked a day in his life because he was doing what he loved to do. It's truly as simple as that. One example of success is doing what you love to do and have someone pay you for it.

In Romans 4:12 it states “call those things which be not as though they were." I personally have chosen to write to inform people about the subject of self realization and enlightenment. It was my vision to be a published writer and to be able to share my truth with others seeking their own. This book is proof that if I can fulfill my vision so can you. God wants you to succeed because when you do, so does the glory of God. Your success is like PR for God. It makes the world take notice when you achieve your dreams and people will recognize that you are blessed and highly favored.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a huge advocate of vision and declares we must use it as a means of navigating our lives in the right direction. People with no vision live very loose lives. It chooses our friends, the books we read, and the decisions we make. Our lives will reflect the vision we have of ourselves. This one thing alone can be the most important quality that all successful people share. An unfailing commitment to achieve their vision and mastering the discipline needed to get ourselves to the destination. We were all created to use our gifts to contribute to life and when we do, the world will never be the same because you came this way. If you truly want to make a difference then accomplish your vision. It will separate you from most of the world that spend their whole lives just dreaming about it.

Most of us spend our whole life doing something that does not challenge us. We live lives that are deeply entrenched in menial tasks required to pull down a paycheck. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not living. Our environment is another good indicator of how we choose to live our lives. Being mindful of the company we keep and not allowing hurtful comments or opinions of others kill our vision is important. Surround yourself with people who have dreams and are working on how to make those dreams come to reality. We can pick and choose the company we keep so be selective. Being mindful of self doubt is a discipline we must master. We have the ability to talk ourselves out of fulfilling a dream. Learning to be your own motivator is necessary because there will be times where no one can see your vision but you. The reality is that other people can't see what God has put in you. An authentic vision is one that cannot be swayed if questioned.
