WHAT’S IT WORTH TO YOU?

Updated on February 21, 2012

The Value of Waiting

Many years ago, my beloved mentor assessed my then raw abilities. After an all-day test of sorts, she concluded that these two abilities were at the top of my talent list:

❶ I had laser sharp focus

❷ I knew how to “wait”

She helped me in so many ways, always encouraging me to go to the Soul level, where healing could occur. The “ability to wait”, she said, was vital. In her opinion, many psychics and even some healers had a tendency to grab at the answers on behalf of the client’s needs. In some cases, the healer may have been sub-par and in other cases, she went on to say, the healer was simply very anxious to help their client.

The ability to patiently wait for the information is not always an easy skill to master, but I would agree that it is of the utmost importance when accuracy is held in high regard.

The cost of a psychic reading or energetic healing: anywhere from $60 to $1,000

The cost of a psychic reading or energetic healing with integrity and authenticity: priceless

Well, I would say that I am as out of my ego as possible when I do healing work. Because I'm an empath, I do feel the client's emotions and that helps to guide me at times. But, I do agree, it is not my emotions at play.

Similar to the "waiting", I have been told that it is important to disconnect from the emotional side of your self when doing a healing, since that interfers. Would you think that to be true?
