Weider X-Factor Review - Is This Weider Home Gym Workout for You?

The Weider X-Factor really piqued my interest when I saw it advertised. My mom had a very similar piece of exercise equipment that I used to love to play with back when I was young and skinny.

When my husband needed to lose weight quickly for his military physical fitness test, we bought him something similar and it really pulled off the weight.

Many, many years later when I needed to lose weight myself, I bought something like the Weider X-factor home gym. I still enjoyed doing the exercises with it, and it definitely firmed me up.

But I had to stop using it before I had great results as the result of an unexpected cross-country relocation. When everything was unpacked, my home gym equipment was never found. I was so upset. I searched everywhere for a replacement, but never found anything.

So, when I saw the Weider X-factor home gym advertisement, I knew I had to try it. If you haven't heard of the Weider X-factor, I'll try to explain it.

• The Weider X-factor is an inexpensive piece of exercise equipment that can be used most anywhere. Using pulleys and cables, the Weider X-factor home gym simply attaches to your door.
• It can be taken down and put away quickly. No more ugly exercise equipment to stare out or to trip over in the night.
• The Weider Xfactor can even be easily packed away in your luggage and taken with you on vacation and business trips. It can even be used in most hotel rooms.
  

I was more than happy when I received my Weider X-factor home gym. It has two handles for your hands and two ankle straps. There are four clips to use that make it easy to attach to your door.

The Weider-X Factor exercise equipment looks like it is very durable. The latex tubes seem to be made of quality materials. It was already assembled, so that was nice. X-factor fits standard door sizes, so I can use it in many areas of my home. The only problem you may encounter when installing the Weider X-factor is if you have less than 1/8 inch clearance at the top or bottom of your door between the door itself and the frame.

The Weider X-factor is even better than my previous exercise equipment. It offers varying resistance levels, all the way up to 210 pounds. This is more than enough resistance for my exercise and weight loss goals.

An added bonus is that the X-factor also comes with 3 Weider home gym workout DVDs and an exercise chart that shows you precise, step by step instructions for each of the exercises! Plus, there is a nutrition guide if you want to download it.

I attached the X-factor Weider home gym to my door with no problems at all. The whole procedure was simple, easy and quick, probably about five minutes. It didn't damage the door or frame at all.

I really enjoy Weider X-factor workouts and can tell that I really exercise my entire body.

I haven't had the Weider X-factor long enough to be able to say if it's an effective workout for weight loss and building muscle. However, it's designed just like my previous home gym workout exercise equipment, except it's better quality with more features and bonus information. With that being said, I'm pretty confident that as long as I stick with my Weider X-Factor workouts, I'll be showing off a slimmer, toned body soon!
