What is isabgol

Isabgol or Psyllium husk is seed of plantago ovata plant that has green leaves like aloevera. It has big flower which like wheat which contains psyllium seeds. Psyllium husk other name is Isabgol and Plantago Ovata Husk .It is cultivated in Gujarat, Rajasthan and some countries in middle east, and in African countries. Isabgol is very rich in fibre content. It has more fibre than any vegetables like Horese radish, spinach.

Benefits of psyllium husks fibre in constipation

Due to hectic life and irregular eating habit, constipation has become common name now. For curing constipation, take one or 2 teaspoonful of isabgol in one glass of water. Mix it well and drink it.You will be relived from constipation. As I have told you that isabgol is rich in fibre content.Therefore it does’nt digest and makes stool soft which is easy to pass.

      I m 17 years old n my doctors tell me to take sat isabgol powder because every after 6 7 pm I m not in every day behaviour I feel very unconcious n very confuse I have a pain near upper side od stomach or at left side of stomach n lower sude if heart so I want u to tell me that should I use this product or it will cure me?

      In my view it helps body in absorbing more water which is good for those who find it difficult. e.g. I often found that i was running more often than others to washroom , after I take isabgol it seems to be absorbed better. I have dry skin condition and this water attracting quality seems to be useful in such cases.

      Isabgol in my view is cleanser,keeps you fit,light and also controls weight. taking two spoons of isabgol half an hour before dinner is more helpful. Try out.
