When Nothing Works, Its Only The Faith Which Works

Updated on March 18, 2013

Its only the faith which works

I remember when I was a kid, my father used to throw me little high up in the air and then catch me.Those few moments in the air were really thrilling but were never scary . And now when I think about it I wonder how come I was not scared? And the only answer I get is that I had full faith that my father will never let me fall down.

Most of the times we hear people saying that " just have faith that good will happen" and yes it really works. After encountering so many ups and downs and facing innumerable challenges, I have realized tht if no power in the world can help you at difficult times then sit and pray to divine and that faith in prayer can do wonders, it makes impossible turn into possible.

Story Reflecting The Power Of Faith

Long long ago there lived one king who ruled the vast kingdom. Every early morning king used to go to the temple to offer prayers to the God and after prayers he used to drink the holy water from the temple offered by priest.

Now this king had some ill minded ministers under him and they wanted to kill the king. So these ministers made a plan to add the poison to the holy water which king used to drink every morning in the temple. But the priest of the temple realized this act of ministers and when they added the poison in the holy water.

As per the routine when the king went to drink the holy water after prayers the temple priest warned him that there is poison in that water and not to drink it. But the king said" I have full faith in the holy water of this temple and what ever it will do to me shall only be for my own good" . Saying this the king drank the poison mixed holy water. But to every ones astonishment there was no effect of the poison on the king and it is said that after drinking that poison mixed holy water it gave some special warrior powers to the king.

That is the power of the faith. Faith is to love something that you have no idea about and which can give you immense strength.
