Why You Can't Ignore Your Weight
Some time ago, I grew extremely depressed and restless. I couldn’t sleep at night and I was having trouble staying awake during the day. I went to the doctor and asked him if he would run tests to check my thyroid. He complied and when the tests came back negative for any thyroid problems I started crying.
I knew something was wrong with me, but couldn’t figure out exactly what “it” was. That’s when my doctor sat me down, looked at me, and seriously said, “You need to lose some weight.”
I was shocked and embarrassed. I knew I’d been gaining weight, but never attributed my weight gain to all the other problems I’d been having. Once the weight started coming off though, my health immediately began to improve.
Your Health Could Be In Jeopardy
One of the main reasons why you can’t afford to ignore your weight any longer if you are obese, is because your health could be in jeopardy. You could be in grave danger of experiencing many serious health issues, including:
- heart failure
- diabetes
- stroke
- glaucoma
- sleep apnea
Obesity will rob your health bit by bit until you can no longer function as a normal person.
Are you overweight?
You Can Do Something About It
