Bodily movements are regulated by a portion of the brain called the basal ganglia, whose cells require a proper balance of two substances called dopamine and acetylcholine, both involved in the transmission of nerve impulses. In Parkinson's, cells that produce dopamine begin to degenerate. Insufficient dopamine disturbs the balance between dopamine and other transmitters, such as acetylcholine. Dopamine is a chemical messenger responsible for transmitting signals between the substantia nigra and the next "relay station" of the brain, the corpus striatum, to produce smooth, purposeful muscle activity. Loss of dopamine causes the nerve cells of the striatum to fire out of control, leaving patients unable to direct or control their movements in a normal manner. Studies have shown that Parkinson's patients have a loss of 80 percent or more of dopamine-producing cells in the substantia nigra.

i think you are wrong... With all do respect, Parkinson's disease biologically speaking is the loss of neurotransmitter which is a result of aging. But these disease is idiopathic and definitely makes Parkinson an unknown cause of its etiology. Normally speaking , Parkinson's disease may result you to Alzheimer and Dementia.

Know more about parkinson in my page.

for internett1t3, you are correct biologically.. But the cause of Parkinson on why dopamine and acetycholine is decreased is unknown.

Parkinson's Disease is a disease which occurred due to decrease amount of neurotransmitter dopamine in the substantia nigra in the brain it is part of the basal ganglia. This has an inhibitory input to the motor system body. So when the neurotransmitter dopamine is deficient it causes rigidity, very slow movement, resting tremor and postural instability, expressionless face, flexed posture.....ect. These are main due to increase overall inhibitory output to the thalamus.
There are no definite cause for  Parkinson's disease though it is common in old age there are patient who present with younger age due to drugs and toxins. But the commonest cause is idiopathic
