Brain Supplements

Updated on June 26, 2013

What are brain supplements? Do they work?

Feeling sluggish, tired, confused, distracted or maybe the old head is just plain foggy? Worried about depression, anxiety, senility, Alzheimers, or cognitive memory loss?

All are symptoms and problems related to our brain and brain functions. If your computer is running slow, you can run defrag and clean up the "junk and clutter", wouldn't it be nice to do the same with the brain as well?

There are supplemens and herbs which can help improve brain functions and improve clarity and focus. Let's take a look at a few.

Healthy Brain Supplements

There are some natural supplements which may actually help your brain "work" better, known as nootropics or smart drugs. Traditionally, these supplements work by increasing the blood and oxygen flow to the brain. Many times, certain supplements claim they work because they are able to penetrate the blood brain barrier and can make one feel like their brain is "working more effectively".

Brain supplements are devised for different areas such as memory, cognitive function, concentration, and learning.
