Welcome to my 8 Step Healthy Living Daily Plan. It's so easy to get lost in the stresses and busyness of everyday living and forget who you are and where you are going. I for one have come to the stage where I need a daily reminder, so here it is- "The Healthy Living Well Daily Plan" that I share with you as a declaration and reminder. At least when life gets tough, it will help me to keep going and I hope that it will do the same for you. If you look down this lens you will find places where you can share your ideas and thoughts too. Having reached middle age I have learned a few things that work for me and I hope they will work for you too.

We could all contribute and benefit more from life if we had something to help us to stay focused and keep going to give us a better life.


Step 1- Be Thankful and see the difference it makes!

Step 2- Meditating and Words of Life - To inspire healthy living

Spend some time meditating as you prepare for your day. If you like you can use yoga with the deep breathing exercise. As you breath in, consciously take in those words of life. They might be from the Bible or your favourite encouraging quotes. As you exhale, breath out lies that you know you believe. If you love the truth you will know the power of allowing positive words to propel you through the day and replacing the lies that hold you back.

Step 3- Plan exercise into your day

Whether you use yoga or plan a walk on a daily basis

It won't happen unless your mind is set on it, so decide at the beginning of the day that you will do something to exercise your body for your well being and health. I have adopted the mindset that I will only use my car if it isn't possible to walk. Sure it takes time, but it is certainly worth it and saves me money and the environment from pollution.

Step 4- Dare To Dream

Dream big and mix with and learn about people who have attained such dreams. If you spend too much time with those who are negative, your dreams could be replaced by hopelessness and regret.

Step 5- Set Yourself Realistic Goals-

Use a calendar or diary to plan each day, one step at a time and tick them off as you attain each one.

Each day I'm getting closer to my goals.

Step 6- Decide To Eat A Healthy Diet Today - Choose the healthiest foods with lots of fresh, unprocessed food

Enjoy the vibrant colours and tastes of good food. Try something new and invest in a good cookbook to help and inspire you. Remember, if you eat well, you will live well and won't need all those pills. Nothing can replace a healthy diet! Make it easier for yourself by planning a week's menu with a shopping list which you stick to, to avoid the temptation of tucking into unhealthy stuff when you can't be bothered.

Step 7-People Are Important - We all need one another

Step 8- Finally At The End Of Each Day - Take a moment to look back for your well being and health

Release any negative emotions in private. Let go of the frustrations and stresses of each day, so that the next day you can begin afresh with a clean sheet. Make a note of anything you need to work on particularly, enlisting help where necessary. Some people find it helpful to play the drums as a method of releasing their emotions.

      Hello there!

      You got an inspiring lens. I will definitely put all these in mind. I guess I need to do this in order to be happy and healthy. I like the idea that we should spend some time meditating as we prepare for our day. In here, I think I will just practice deep breathing exercise.
