Which way to go

A decision to make

One that isn’t so easy

My life it may take

I’ve put in my time

God knows I have tried

So many tears

Witnessed, and cried

Should I play out my hand

Taking the ultimate chance

How can I do anything else

But finish this dance

Never one to doubt God

He knows what is best

There is trouble, big trouble

Right here in my chest

You say you would miss me

I’d miss me too

I don’t know that I’m ready

For the drop of the other shoe

Play it safe and spend remaining time

Being nursed and watched over

Think I’d rather just go

And start pushing up clover

I’ve done it their way

And I’ve done it mine

Just have to figure

Is this really my time

I’ve loved and I’ve lived

On terms I made mine

I gave and I’ve taken

Didn’t seem like too much

Now I’m left to ponder

to stay or to join

Guess I’ll leave it all up to Him

And the flip of a coin

Yes, that is truth. A dear friend was facing a difficult decision and I wrote this for him. He chose to take a chance and he is living today to tell that the right choice was made.

These kinds of choices make everything else in life seem very small and not so important.

Sometimes life seems unbearable, but it is not near as bad as we often may think it is. We never know what tommorrow will bring, so it is worth the challenge to wait and see. God Bless You.

Dear Q - yes, it can be the most difficult thing you will ever do.

Know when to hold em ... Know when to fold em ... Know when to walk away ... Know when to run ...

Yes, we'll stay a little longer my friend.

Poohgranma you must play out the hand, you told me to do so and I understand. We are all here for a reason and in good time we will depart, yet not on our own accord but by the waiting clock. Tick Tack Toe we hear it clearly and listen with pricked ears for the grim reaper to appear.

I say let the demons stay in our cave, we are not ready to depart dear friend. Plod on as Micky says, let's fight till the end and go out kicking. Let's stay a little longer and have the last dance. Hugs

Sometimes, a flip of a coin feels so much easier when honestly it could be every bit as difficult.

He's gonna read it and comment after some resting up and you'd better have some stories ready for him too!

God bless you dear. I want to see how "it" all ends. It takes so long. Can I stay the course? What course?

My birth and life seem uneventful as I look at the futility of my struggle. Yet, I'll plod on. I know that the truth of "me" will never be told. My struggle will be dithered by countless other struggles. Still - let's plod on my dear. Let's see how it ends. God bless you Pooh.

Sometimes I suppose people get tired. My dad was like that. He decided he was ready and just waited to go. One morning he just was gone. I know he was happy though I still miss him and grieve. Pooh, this is so touching and really is thoughtful to read and ponder upon.

Wow, Pooh...this reads like modern Shakespeare. A profound decision for this person to make; but to remain and finish the dance is the wisest for it is a dance of the life that is love. Well done!

Please stay a while longer and lets wait and see, without my dear friend, I will assuredly grieve, My days would be darker my nights more alone, If you were to leave, I'd be so much more alone..... Great expression of the struggle between indecission and giving it up to God!

...why flip a coin says the epi-man when you have the luxury of choice and POOHGRANMA is always my luxury and POOHGRANMA is always my choice - and it's talented/wondeful people like you who make it (life) so easy!
