Depending on the age, stress can appear in a variety of ways such as acting out, bet wetting, anger etc. i have an informational site specific to Emotions in youth it may help
I think stress affects kids even worse than adults. They don't know how to relieve their stress very affectively, and it almost always makes life harder for them and their parents. They can act out, and do things that gets them attention in negative ways. We need to listen to our children and make sure if they are stressed that we are there for them and do all we can to keep them from getting that way.
