Who on this hub is living with Postpolio? How would you rate your quality of life after having a suc
I had a mild case of polio at 4yrs. More awkward and clumsy than my typical counterparts, it didn't stop me from over achieving. I felt I had something to prove if only to myself. When I floated into the 40 yrs range, I started feeling a reduction of energy, more physical problems emerged. Now in my 60's I don't "do" stairs, can't walk further than a half mile; have to stop and rest, often have a very dirty house because I can't keep up with the dusting and sweeping, laundry is done twice a month; yes I have enough underwear to last, and I miss my old bouncy, energic, busy self.
