What do most people want when choosing a dentist?
Boiling it all down to one essential thing, is it to deal with the fear, the time, the cost, the trust, the believabilty, the distance, the reputation, the painlessness, the up-to-date-ness of the facility, the experience of the dentist, the staff being likable or something not listed here?
I think the answer would differ for different kinds of people. Someone who is scared of the dentist would likely want someone who has a reputation for treating dental phobic patients, someone who doesn't mind all that much would just want to visit the closest one, and those who really care would want an up-to-date facility.
Whatever gets the job done, I suppose.
Care towards the patient......and affordable treatments.....
Professionalism, friendliness and care. It is important that you are treated with respect, and that you are taken relatively on time (sometimes emergencies are unavoidable), and that you are given the dentist's full attention during your appointment.
