I just had a mri of my rt. knee and I would like to know what it means in dummy terms. Surgery?
there is a benign cartilage rest in the distal femur immediately underlying the intercondylar nodule notch. Moderate chondromalacia patellae with evidence for chondral flap formation along the medial facet of the patella. Focal cartilaginous thinning along the central weight bearing aspect of the lateral femoral condyle and a complex tear involving the body and posterior horn of the lateral meniscus as well as a small undersurface flap tear involving the body and posterior horn of the medial meniscus. there is a phsiologic amount of joint fluid with no baker cyst. Recovery time?
