How does your ADD get in the way of achieving your daily goals?
I wrote a hub on I think I have ADHD, been diagnosed with it as was having trouble with finishing what I started especialy if it was boring !.
I have a lot of great ideas but found it hard finishing things so hopefully with the medication will get things finished !
Sorry I took so long to answer but I am new around here and get lost,(ADD). Feelings of being out of control and not up to the task at hand keeps us from focusing on what is important. Sometimes just figuring out what is the goal, is it your goal or someones elses, can stifle any ambition on achieving. Many of us try methods offered to organize and constantly fail because because we process information differently. Picking out easy goals such as making beds, doing dishes, paying bills, and doing the same thing everyday at the same time make a goal easier to reach. As you set up a routine, keep it simple and do it on your time, slowly add a goal. For me I have the same routine I set up ten years ago and adjust daily to add items. This works at home or on the job, keep your goal attainable, don't make you goal to paint the house in one day. Most importantly, figure out how you learn best, is it visual, oral, hands on? For me it is watching others or hands on. Hope you get your answers.
