Here are some guidelines for your question:
If you are having signs/symptoms of a UTI (urinary tract infection), you should first go and see your regular primary care doctor for a proper evaluation and treatment.
Common UTI signs are the following:
1) Discomfort with urination
2) Frequently going to urinate
3) abdominal cramping above your lower abdomen where your bladder is located
4) A sensation that you have not completely finished urinating, when you have
5) Cloudy appearing urine
Once you have been diagnosed by your PCP for a UTI or bladder infection and have been prescribed treatment;
There are over the counter products to help with urinary discomfort, such as Azo-Standard.
This product should not be used for more than 2 days as instructed, and used only when you have a formal UTI diagnosis or approval by your PCP.
So do not use Azo on a regular basis "to clean your system", but drinking plenty of water daily (64oz) keeps you well hydrated and fulfills your body's needs.
If your urine is clear, but you still have symptoms-please be evaluated by your PCP. If your urine is not clear and you have no symptoms--keep up the good work and keep hydrated with water.
