how can you tell if you dis lodged a blood clot from a tooth extraction??
i see a blood clot, i think but it keeps going lower it looks like, i had the tooth extraction on Thursday and it is now Friday.
The first 48 hours are the most important. You shouldn't smoke, drink through a straw or do anything that will create suction in your mouth. You will have heavy bleeding if blood clot comes out too soon, but don't worry if you have some weeping as that is very common. As it heals you will have a hole that will be created where the extraction took place.
If you have swelling, try a cold compress to the area.
