Is the mind the location for our emotional consciousness or hub for sensing how we feel?
Where is our emotions processed?
Where else would we process raw emotion? Visually we react quickly to sight, through our cortex, but what about the blind? They also experience the full range of emotion, in some cases more intensely. Sounds can stir us, frighten us or please us. Smells play all sorts of tricks with our emotions. Notwithstanding the millions of chemical reactions required to respond to blind touch, we are an organic machine. I will never understand the limited thinking that comes with being evolved from 250 proteins sitting in a plasma puddle. Nice question.
If we get too much addicted to Hubpages, perhaps the location of our emotional consciousness will shift to our "hub"!
