    Well there are some serious mental health risks, that is for sure. But the radiation received is minimal. It would take about a hundred to equal an x-ray from a doctors office.

    For sure, though I think it's been exaggerated by so called 'experts' and the media who feature many of these experts. Obviously these devices do give off radiation (very small amounts).

    I don't know the exact figures for the doses of radiation received, though as already stated, it is less than a normal x-ray, and I imagine it would take years of very frequent travel for it to have an effect if indeed it would. Personally I don't think there's any need to panic about it, at the same time I might argue that if there is any potential risk, then do the benefits of them really outweigh the risk/can similar benefits be achieved through alternative methods...?

    I think they should be outlawed. They are not helping matters in the least.
