What's stopping you from doing that one thing you've always wanted to do?
Could be anything; fear, money, commitments, faith, friends, family, disability, distance, inexperience, etc
fear, no matter the other excuses that we come up with it breaks down to fear of something in most cases. Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of taking the chance, fear of judgement , fear of disapproval. In one way or another it has always been fear.
A lack of direction, I'd have to say. Let's just say my goal is career oriented, and life doesn't come with a GPS. It can be hard to figure out where to turn once you are out of college.
I am afraid of drowning and have always wanted to learn swimming but till now I have not been able to. I wish to go on cruises but my fear holds me back!
sometimes fear and lack of experience (for my career path) but for traveling it is money. I have saved and traveled to Rome and Amsterdam, so I guess its not just "one" thing but a constant travel bug!
I'm loosing words that could explain it, but it's the one that stops me time and again.
i guess money and mental health is a massive reason for me!
