Can someone explain to me what the "Light" at the end of the tunnel is suppose to be?
Near death experiences.
It may be a train light coming your way, or it may be daylight...!
One would hope the "light at the end of the tunnel" would indicate there is better times ahead... from the darkness to the light...
Dallas said it, metaphorically, the light at the end of the tunnel is the hope that difficult times will soon come to an end and something great is up ahead.
It could be many things but mostly when you see light at the end of the tunnel, it is that you have understood that you have to be clear in what you want and you will find the exit to most problems.
