Have you been able to give birth according to your Birth Plan? How did it go?
I was advised not to bother with a birth plan - when the times comes, it all goes out the window! You really can't 'plan' your birth. What will happen will happen - no matter how many times you have gone through it (each labor is different). Decide beforehand what pain relief you wish to have by doing some research, but keep an open mind. I wasn't going to have gas and air and changed my mind twice about an epidural, but I had both and the experience was great. Some people want an epidural but don't have time for one, so go with the flow...

Every time I see someone give birth on the TV i cry my eyes out but when my own babies were born I never cried- not even a bit. Just wondered what everyone else was like.
