To try to heal your wounds you first have to have the courage to face them.
Some wounds are deeper than the others.
Time is a good friend...You can help reduce your pain with time, however it's not always possible to heel it altogether.
Forgiveness can often set you free and enable you to move on in your life.
You should be able to learn something from every bad experience that comes your way, and become a stronger person.
Life is not a smooth sailing. There are obstacle and misfortunes on the way for all of us.
They are natural part of our self-growth and development.
I have, among my other self-help hubs an article titled 'How to find and be yourself' if you like to read it.
No, time does not. Acceptance does. Drawing away from the issue and seeing it in a different light when it no longer bother's you. Some people can do that without waiting years. It's kind of interesting.
@katrine - You got great hubs. thank you for sharing your insights on these things, I think we all need these kinds of advice from time to time. Thank you. And you look awesome, by the way!
@Iburmaster - I totally agree with you.
Wow, I got great answers from 2 beautiful women today.

Would you still have any old feelings for someone who you were with previously and broke up because they were caught cheating on you or would you feel mad and blame yourself for all of it to happen?

What is one bad experience from your past that has proved to be a good thing at the end?Could you share a very bad personal experience in the past which, some time later, has proven to have a rather positive impact on your life or life path?p.s. it probably shouldn't be under "health"...
