How healthy is it for very senior citizens to donate blood?
Is there an age limit with regard to blood donation?
The health status of the senior matters when it comes to blood donation. Some seniors are in better health conditions than other, and should be able to donate some blood, although not as much as their much younger counterparts.
I don't think this has anything to do with age. If you have a low blood iron count when they take a sample of your blood they will not let you donate no matter what your age.
